For the third year in a row the DashBoard Skimboard team is here to share the awesomeness of skimboarding. Learn skimming basics, add some new tricks to your repertoire, or just hang out and watch the fun. This is your chance to learn from experts and get your feet on a quality skimboard designed and crafted by the DashBoard team.

Skookum's Sixth Summmer of Fun

Now in our sixth season, Skookum Surf Co. continues to offer premium surf lessons, surf gear rentals, skimboards, and bike rentals.

Learning to surf in a fun and safe environment is one of the most enjoyable and healthiest activities on the Long Beach Peninsula. Whether you have always wanted to try surfing, but have never had the opportunity, or are just looking for a way to tire out your kids, our beginner to intermediate surf lessons are for you.

Because you can only surf for 4hrs a day, and because surfing isn’t for everyone we are still offering beach cruiser bike rentals! Bicycles are the second best way to experience the peninsula, cruising along he dunes on the Discovery Trail is a simple, yet indulgent experience unlike anything else. But don't take our word for it try it!

We will be doing online bookings for surf lessons so see our surf lesson calendar on the Surf Lesson page for optimal lesson times on a given day. We will be offering premium surfboard demos from our Instructor's favorite Surftech boards, perfect if you already know how to surf, but don't have your board or want to try something new. Finally, we accept visa/mastercard.
