Bike FAQ :. Rates
This summer Skookum Surf Co. has put together a fleet of cruiser style bikes for you to peddle around the Long Beach Peninsula. The Long Beach Peninsula is covered with paved, off-road, and on-road bicycle paths. These trails lead through the dramatic foredune and trough zones with glimpses of the Pacific Ocean and through the Coastal Rainforest zone where flora and fauna abound. For the weekend, an afternoon, or a sunset, bicycles are a great way to see the peninsula and get some fresh air.
We also repair bicycles. If your bike has a problem, or you just need something to make it yours, swing by and we’ll help you out. Our shop rate of $20 per hour is hard to beat for repairs, so drag the old mare out of the garage and bring her in for some rehab.

What Does the Rental Include?
Included with your rental is a helmet and bicycle lock.
Where Can I Ride?
Depending on your ability level and time there are several options for great rides. We will gladly provide you with a trail map and a recommendation of which trails might be best suited to your interests.
Can I Reserve a Specific Bike?
We are working towards having this in the future, but for now rentals will be on a first come first serve basis.
Can I Ride the Bike on the Beach?
We do no recommend riding our bikes on the beach, watch people you see with bikes on the beach and chances are they are dragging their bikes not riding them. Because it is difficult to ride on the beach and it is hard on our equipment we encourage you stay off the beach.
Do you Repair Bicycles?
Yes, in addition to rentals we also do repairs. If your bike has a flat tire, bent wheel, is shifting funny, or just doesn’t feel right; bring it in and we can fix it for you. Our prices are fair and honest and we stand behind our work.
Rates
Cruisers can be rented for the following:
- $15 for four hours
- $20 for 24 hours
